We facilitate treatment for patients in need, raise understanding of radiotheranostics, work to shape reimbursement policies, and amplify the work of partners advancing the field. Our Access, Advocacy, Awareness, and Supporting & Collaborating Projects work together toward a shared goal: making radioligand therapy available to everyone, everywhere.

Access is at the heart of our mission. We work to remove the barriers that keep radioligand therapy (RLT) out of reach for people living with cancer, mobilising doses, expertise, and partnerships to bring treatment closer to those who need it, wherever they are.

Treatment donation

RLT-Connect is an online platform designed to facilitate collaboration between healthcare professionals seeking radioligand therapy for their patients who cannot afford it and radioisotope suppliers willing to donate doses, making this life-changing treatment accessible to those in need.

Awareness

Awareness is the first step toward equitable access. Our awareness projects shine a light on the clinical value of radioligand therapy (RLT) and the real-world barriers people living with cancer face in reaching it. Through collaboration with patient communities, healthcare professionals, and media partners, we work to make RLT better understood and to keep the patient perspective at the heart of public and healthcare system conversations.

Educational Comic book and video

Radiotheranostics is changing cancer care, shifting treatment from a one-size-fits-all model to a personalised approach. Yet it remains widely misunderstood. To bridge that gap, the Oncidium foundation created Mister Bind, an educational hero who guides you through this innovative technique with comic books and videos, available in multiple languages.

Every March 31, we celebrate World Radiotheranostics Day, honoring an innovation that has been transforming cancer care since 1941. Under the theme #SeeitTreatit, this global awareness campaign brings together patients, healthcare professionals, and supporters to raise visibility, share resources, and advocate for greater access. Experts Explain, Patients Share

Patients discovering radioligand therapy face a double challenge: understanding the science and finding someone who has actually been through it. RLT Channel bridges that gap. Each episode pairs interviews with oncologists and nuclear medicine specialists, who explain how the therapy works and how to access it, with patient testimonials that bring the experience to life, offering something a brochure cannot: reassurance, perspective, and the certainty of not navigating this alone.

Bringing experts, policymakers, and healthcare leaders together to accelerate access to radioligand therapy where it is most needed. Organised by the Oncidium Foundation, the Regional Radiotheranostics Summits create space for shared learning across continents and build local momentum to expand access to this life-changing treatment.

Advocacy

The Oncidium foundation engages in advocacy by working with healthcare decision-makers and payers to improve policy and reimbursement pathways for Radioligand Therapy (RLT). This work aims to support fair and timely access so that eligible patients can benefit from this treatment across healthcare systems.

Advocacy in Argentina

Access to cancer care should not require a legal fight. In Argentina, insurance providers often deny coverage, and people living with cancer must pursue judicial appeals to obtain radioligand therapy. For most who would be eligible, this puts treatment out of reach. The Oncidium foundation has partnered with Fundación ACIAPO, a local patient organization, to lead advocacy efforts. Together, we work to raise public awareness, amplify patient voices, and engage national health authorities, expanding access to RLT for those who need it.

Advocacy in Europe

Across Europe, access to radioligand therapy still depends too much on where a person lives. The Oncidium foundation works with policymakers and partners to share patient realities and advocate for fairer access to innovative cancer care.

Research & Collaborations

The Oncidium foundation also supports projects in the field of nuclear medicine that focus on improving access to radioligand therapy for patients. We help communicate the results of these projects and clinical trials to people living with cancer, healthcare professionals, and nuclear medicine practitioners, ensuring that patient needs and perspectives remain at the center of our work.

Thera4Care specializes in advanced theranostic solutions, combining expert research with novel technologies to revolutionise healthcare.

Our approach enhances precision in both diagnostics and treatments for complex diseases like cancer, utilizing innovative isotopes and imaging techniques to improve patient outcomes.

Accelerate.EU is a project pioneering the development of novel radiotheranostic pairs featuring the alpha-emitting isotope astatine-211 (211At) to target aggressive cancers like pancreatic, breast, and brain cancer.

RLT4BE is a governmentsupported initiative bringing together key stakeholders to develop an integrated solution framework and actionable plan to ensure Belgium is future ready for the implementation and expansion of radioligand therapy in cancer treatment.
