90Y-BetaGlue is an original product described as a medical device (Brachytherapy) made of a mixture of 90Y-labeled microspheres mixed prior to injection with a component that polymerizes on site and is later eliminated by metabolization. This way allows to fix the microspheres at the site of injection and allows applications both as Neoadjuvant therapy or post-resection treatment.
Two clinical studies are conducted since June 2020, one on radio-ablation of surgical margins following resection of breast ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), and one of radio-ablation of malignant liver lesions HCC followed by surgical resection.
